The CGMT, Gujarat complained about his residence Broadband connection fault on sunday. The DE(OD) and other associated outdoor staff searched the fault vis:
1. Fault in indoor wiring.
2. Change in cable pair

The IP settings etc were OK. The ADSL lamp was ON/OFF. Ultimately the modem replacement was tried and the ADSL lamp bacame steady.

A wonderfull effort. Congratulations to prepare a blog site for sharing experience on broadband related complaints and solutions found. Such an interaction will help in healthy interaction and updating the knowledge.

The blog spot was not utilised as envisaged, how ever, ther has been phenomenal growth of broadband connections during 2008-2010 and now there are more than 3 lakh BSNL broadband connections working in the Gujarat Telecom Circle. A Circle Centric Call Centre on 1504 has also been operationalised during 2009 and also popularised through print/electronic media/advt on bus shelters/BSNL bills etc. On and average more than 600-700 calls are being received at call centre. The data of same is also compiled and specifically repeat complaints are to be looked into seriously.

Any typical fault found on attending broadband complaint may be shared on this platform for the benefit of all others...

Hope we will utilise this platform to our full extent. Thanks...Rajesh Gupta. DGM(Broadband), Gujarat Circle
